-ROBO LAB-
Planning and Ideas
Robo Lab Basic idea’s
- Managing a robotics lab
- Build rooms
- Build robots
- Upgrade rooms and robots
- Overcome catastrophise
- Choose to build cheap robots or expensive and advanced robots
- Get contracts to make several specific robots in exchange for resources
- Manage resources
- Don’t run out of basic resources (eg. supplies/power)
- Gain advanced resources through special rooms and/ or contract payments
- Advanced resources used to build more advanced robots and rooms
- Phases
- Phase 1
- Player builds basic bots and basic rooms with basic resources
- Contracts don’t pay much but off small amounts of advanced resources
- Catastrophise less likely to happen
- Phase 2
- Player has built at least 1 or 2 advanced rooms
- Contracts pay more but require more
- Catastrophise are likely to happen but are easy to deal with
- Phase 3
- Player has a bunch of advanced rooms and robots
- Contracts are crazy {somehow}
- Catastrophise happen and are hard to deal with
Room ideas:
- Office
- Power generator
- Storage
- Server rooms
- Factory (for creating robots)
- Test rooms
- Research lab (maybe done by advanced AI)
- Marketing facility (allows contracts)
- Mineral refiner (resource units)
- Weapons facility
- Environmental health center
Robot ideas:
- Repair robot
- Cleaner
- Defense robot
- Workers
- Science robot (for research new technology)
- Manufacturing robots
- Emergency service robots (for fires etc.)
- Engineer robots (more advanced workers)
- War bot
- Atmosphere cleaners bots
- Animal welfare bots
Contracts:
- Military (requesting warbots, Defense bots etc.)
- Advanced IT
- Environmental (Cleaner robots, Animal protection ect.)
- Police
Resources:
Main resources
- Power
- Money
- Research points ( earn them from everything, used to research things. Receive more as you advance, but research costs more )
- Recourse units
For building
- Metal
- Plastic
- Computer/robot components
Balance between morality
- Siding with military, causes more protests and activists etc. But they generate more money
- Siding with environmental side generates less money, but gives a better reputation (less likely to suffer catastrophe)
Catastrophe types
- Natural disasters (standard)
- Protestors/Rivals(Based on morality)
